Judy is a licensed professional counselor that has over 30 years of experience in behavioral health. She completed her bachelor of science in social work and psychology from LaSalle University in Philadelphia, PA and her master's degree in mental health from Lancaster Bible College in Lancaster, PA. Judy has been honored with the John Steinman Fellowship Award for Mental Health Counseling in 2008 and 2009.
Judy is kind and sensitive in her approach, and her priority is to create a safe therapeutic environment that allows for clients to explore and address daily challenges while supporting them in achieving their goals. She has experience in working with clients of all ages and diverse backgrounds in a variety of settings, such as outpatient community/psychiatric centers, pastoral counseling and school settings. She has successfully provided treatment to adults and adolescents for mood disorders, substance use, and anger management issues.
Judy is passionate about working with adolescents and adults and brings a set of skills in addressing behavioral issues, managing symptoms related to ADHD, anxiety, self-esteem, issues related to trauma. She also works with adults by using evidence based treatment to help these clients efficiently decrease their symptoms and improve their lives.
Judy utilizes evidence-based approaches tailored to meet clients needs and has received training in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
